Ken Hitzig

Mr. Hitzig founded Accord 30 years ago and has seen his initial vision grow into a highly successful North American factoring and finance company. In addition to a B.Comm. from McGill University and a C.A. designation, Mr. Hitzig has over 45 years experience in the factoring industry. Mr. Hitzig has been a director since 1992 and is a member of the Board’s Compensation Committee.
Ben Evans
Stamford, Connecticut
Mr. Evans is a Certified Public Accountant with over 50 years of business experience. He has served as both a partner and a consultant with Ernst & Young, New York City, specializing in factoring and finance companies, and in advising creditors in insolvencies. Mr. Evans is chairman of the Board’s Audit Committee. He also serves as a director of The Penn Traffic Company, a U.S. listed company. Mr. Evans has been a director since 2000.
Frank D. White
Mount Royal, Quebec
Mr. White is the owner of several independent businesses, including TMS Truck Masters, and has served as a director of Accord since 1992. With a B.Comm., a C.A. designation and over 45 years business experience, Mr. White is chairman of the compensation committee and serves on the Board’s Audit Committee. Mr. White is also a member of the Board of Governors of Dynamic Mutual Funds.
Robert J. Beutel
Toronto, Ontario
Mr. Beutel holds an M.S.E.from the University of Michigan and has served on the Board of Directors since 1990 and is a member of the Board’s Audit Committe and Compensation Committee. Mr. Beutel is president of Oakwest Corporation Limited, a private investment management and holding company. He is also chairman and director of Strongco Income Fund, Hanfeng Evergreen Inc., and QuStream Corporation.
Tom Henderson
Greenville, South Carolina
Mr. Henderson has been associated with the factoring industry for the past 44 years, first with Heller International in a variety of management roles where he concentrated on managing factoring and asset-based operating units in the U.S., Asia and Australia. Mr. Henderson later joined Accord Financial, Inc., the Company's U.S. subsidiary, in a sales capacity in 1998 and was promoted to President and CEO in 2001, a position he still holds. On May 6, 2009 he was appointed President and CEO of the Company.
Simon Hitzig
Toronto, Ontario
Mr. Simon Hitzig has been a strategy consultant in the financial services industry since 2009. For the decade prior to that, Mr. Hitzig held executive positions in marketing, product development and distribution strategy at Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd., and continues to be on its Board of Governors. Mr. Hitzig is a graduate of York University and received his M.B.A. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Mr. Hitzig has been a director since May 7, 2008.
Stephen D. Warden
Oakville, Ontario
A Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant, Mr. Warden received his B. Comm. from the University of Toronto in 1980. Now a partner with Parker Simone LLP, serving entrepreneurs and public companies, he was a partner from 1990 to 2008 with KPMG LLP in its Financial Services Audit Practice where he specialized in investment dealers and banking, factoring and finance companies including being on the audit of Accord from 1980 to 2006. He is a Director of the Exempt Market Dealers Association of Canada. He was appointed a Director of Accord in July, 2010. |
